The Rosary which in Latin (rosarium) means “crown of roses” or “garland of roses” is a string of beads to count prayers especially used in the Catholic Church. The prayers are composed of ten Hail Marys which is preceded by one Lord’s Prayer and followed by one Glory Be. The rosary is used to venerate Mary, and according to tradition the concept was given to Saint Dominic in an apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1214.
